Boy has it been a while, we are finally posting something here in class news as it has been almost three months since our last post. Tom and I are still in the long process of putting the DVD together. We are hoping to have them completed and ready to mail by the first of December. We will have an order form so you can place your order(s) when it is closer to completion.

The 2-Disc DVD set is going to include the following:

  • LightScribe DVD with a laser engraved design on the face of the disc
  • 20th - 40th Reunion slide shows and their individual pictures
  • Fallen Hawk slide show and their individual pictures
  • Brunch Movie from 40th Reunion
  • Miscellaneous slide show and their individual pictures

We are going to try and put a caption on 40th Reunion individual pictures. This DVD package will be a 2-disc set, disc one will have all the slide shows and movies and disc two will have all the original JPGs of each slide show. The second disc will allow you to print and make your own copies of the images used in the slide show.

Check back to catch a sneak peek of the DVD.

Received a couple of emails from Kay Reece Deaver and the latest from Terry Wiens and wanted to pass along the note and picture from Frank's wife Debbie. Thanks to all who sent cards to Frank while in the hospital!!!!! I will keep everyone posted when I get more updates.... Tom

Subject: Frank at home

Hello family and friends, we are finally home, home sweet home, thanks to God and his many blessing.

Frank loves being home in his own bed for his recovery with Murphy at his side and Nurse Debbie giving him tender care. St. Francis ICU was great to our Frank but we experienced rather a rushed exit, which was a bit uncomfortable--- but now we are in our own home with hospice home health care, which is wonderful support and assistance. They helped us with med set up, extensions for my old walker, dos and don'ts, physical therapist Cheryl (4'11") whips Frank into shape three times a week working on balance and strength, and I even found Norn and Zeke's shower chair-he loves getting clean and shaved ---and then into bed with Murphy he goes for a long restful nap.

Allie was a great help last weekend---- we took turns helping Frank, sleeping, and running errands to stock up for the week. Thanks to our Allie. You could tell she's pregnant because as soon as she arrived her keen sense of smell noticed that our house was not fresh smelling after two weeks of absence.

Carey, you will be happy to know she was lighting candles and spraying air freshener all around. Our great friends have been bringing in meals but Murphy is disappointed he does not get to indulge.

Frank continues to have some pain, especially during therapy, but he only needs Tylenol. Tomorrow we return to Dr. Lothes in Wichita for a scan and possibly removal of staples. We will report back soon. Attached is a pic of Frank and Murphy resting, which is our normal mode of operation. Guess which side he sleeps on?

Much thanks to God and love to all,

Frank, sidekick Murphy, and Nurse Deb
