David Lynn Perrin, 65, died February 3, 2015 in Tahuya, WA, unknown cause. He was born on Nov. 11, 1949 in Little River, Kan. to Ralph and Emma May Perrin . In 1969, David enlisted in the USN and served with MU-11 EOD Special Forces in Vietnam and earned a Bronze Star, and was a PurpleHeart recipient. He was honorably discharged in 1973. David was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. He is survived by his stepson, mother, brother, and nieces. Services held at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home by the flagpole on February 20th at 1 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Cancer Society, Disabled American Vets, and the Native American Society.

Robert Lee Phillips, 68, of Brooksville, Fl. passed away August 7, 2017 at his home from cancer. He was born May 7, 1949 in Salina, Kansas and attended his sophomore and junior years at Hutchinson High School. He came to this area 40 years ago. He proudly served in the United States Army. He was a self-employed electrician and a member of Anchor Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pat Phillips; son, Shane Phillips of Brooksville, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Autumn and Johnny Erickson of Texas; brother, Fred Phillips of Oklahoma; sisters, Jackie Beach of Tennessee, Linda Eye of Missouri, Teresa McCaughey of Kansas; grandchildren, Shane Phillips II, Jessie, Tommy, Ember, Emma Erickson. A Graveside Service with Military Honors was held August 11, 2017 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
