Juliann Jackson

We are sad to announce the passing of Juliann Jackson, Gilley, Board, who left this world on February 8, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born October 14, 1950, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to her loving parents Jack Jackson Sr and Corine (Nevius) Jackson. Juliann was a dedicated worker at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, where she spent many years of her life before retiring in 2010. She was well-loved by her colleagues and always had a smile on her face. Juliann left a profound impact on all those lucky enough to know her. Her love for her family painted a picture of a woman who treasured the simple pleasures of life and family ties. Left to honor and remember her love are her son, Jack Gilley; daughter-in-law, Dannielle Gilley from Pretty Prairie Kansas; her daughter Deanna Gilley from Hutchinson Kansas; along with her 5 grandchildren, Chasity Gilley, Uriah Gilley, Raidyn Tyler, Rauley Gilley Lopez and Brennan Miles. And her two great grandchildren Teyanah Gilley and Ezra Gilley. As well as her brother Jack Jackson Jr and his wife Elaine Jackson from Hutchinson Kansas. The love and lessons she shared with them will forever be a beacon of guidance and warmth in their lives. She is preceded in death by her parents Jack Jackson Sr and Corine Jackson (Nevius), her sister Margie Jackson and her two sons Richard Gilley (Red) and Dean Gilley (Dino). Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service to honor Juliann's life will be held on Saturday February 22, 2025, 10:00 am at the Saltcity Cowboy Church, 810 North Main St. South Hutchinson Kansas, with Montie McFerrin presiding. It is at this gathering that we shall share memories, shed tears, and celebrate the vibrant life of Juliann, who has left an indelible mark on our hearts. In lieu of flowers, we encourage friends and family to spend quality time with their loved ones, as Juliann would have wanted. Her life may have ended, but her spirit lives on in the smiles and laughter of the family she adored so dearly. Rest in peace, Juliann, and may your laughter echo in the heavens.
